Where and how to apply?
Applications for a residence permit shall be submitted in person at a Danish Visa Application Centre. Please visit the respective website for information about the application process and the address of the nearest Danish Visa Application Centre in Russia, Danish Visa Application Centre in Kazakhstan, Danish Visa Application Centre in Belarus.
As a part of the application procedure you will have your biometric features (facial image and fingerprints) recorded. The facilities for recording the biometric are available At the Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow and at the Danish Visa Application Centres.
Applications for residence permits for students and au pairs should pass certain interview at the Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow, therefore it is recommended to submit application through the Danish Visa Application Centre in Moscow or Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow.
An interview at the Embassy of Denmark in Moscow is intended to verify the English skills (or Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or German). Please call the Danish Visa Centre, tel.: +7 (499) 350 78 72 Monday-Friday between 9.00-16.00 for appointment for handing in the documents and the interview.
All other types of applications for a residence permit shall be submitted at the Danish Visa Application Centres in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk, also at the Danish Visa Application Centre in Almaty, Kazakhstan and at the Danish Visa Application Centre in Minsk, Belarus.
