Verification of Copies
A verification is typically used as proof that a photocopy is a true copy of the original document. It may be, for example, that a copy of a page in a passport has to be verified as a true copy.
Verification does not have anything to do with the contents of a document, and merely confirms that it is a true copy.
The verification procedure
The original document is received at the mission. Here a photocopy is made of the document, and a so-called True-Copy stamp and a signature are applied to the photocopy. We cannot verify a copy without having seen the original document.
