Advance voting in Moscow for the general election
Everyone who meets the following conditions on election day has the right to vote in advance in the general election:
- has Danish nationality (citizenship);
- is 18 years of age or older;
- has permanent residence in the Kingdom of Denmark;
- is not under guardianship with full deprivation of legal capacity.
Persons who have permanent residence in the Faroe Islands or Greenland do not have the right to vote in the general election in Denmark. They are instead entitled to vote in the general election in the Faroe Islands and in Greenland, where a total of four members of the Folketing are elected.
How to vote
If you are in Russia and meet the above conditions, you can vote in advance at the Embassy in Moscow during normal opening hours. Remember to bring valid identification (passport, driver's license, etc.). You must cast your vote in the general election no later than Friday March 6 2026 to ensure that your vote arrives on time.
