A full-time position as temporary Visa Officer is opening at the Royal Danish Embassy in
Moscow. The successful applicant will be part of the Embassy’s Visa Section and will refer to the Consul.

Primary tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing visa matters including, but not limited to:
  - Receipt and registration of visa applications and applications for residence and work permits
  - Processing of visa applications (verification of documents, interviewing applicants and   references) and establishing compliance with the rules
  - Answer telephone and mail inquiries
  - Filing
Experience from a similar job will be an advantage.

Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who:
  - is service minded and a good team player
  - is a fast learner, resilient under pressure, accurate and responsible,
  - is capable of making decisions within tight deadlines in accordance with set rules
  - is IT proficient
  - is fluent in spoken and written Russian and English; knowledge of Danish is an advantage
    but not a precondition
  - has excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Terms of Appointment
The temporary Visa Officer will be appointed according to regulations for local staff at the
Embassy of Denmark in Moscow with expected start date 15th of March 2020. The candidate
will be employed on a 6 month fixed contract with a weekly working time of 38 hours.
The salary will be based on experience and skills. The successful applicant will undergo on-the-job training at the Embassy.
