Firstly, the exhibition “The Wild Swans” - decoupages by H.M. the Queen of Denmark will be on display at the States Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg from the 8th of October through the 2th of December.
This is the very last stop on the exhibitions tour around the world. Back in September 2009 it started in Odense, Denmark, and has afterwards been around the world. Program Elements
Energy Efficiency
In connection to these significant events, The Royal Danish Consulate in St. Petersburg will arrange a string of business events in order to create as much value as possible for our clients.
The final program is still under construction but below you will find some of the events that will be hosted.
Among these business events a reception will showcase Green Denmark in terms of New Nordic Food as well as Energy Efficiency; at the reception H.R.H. the Crown Princess will hand over the Danish Export Associations Diploma and H.R.H. Prince Henriks Medal of Honour.
Furthermore breakfast and roundtable meetings will be arranged and a signature ceremony will seal a partnership agreement between Denmark and several Russian regions within environment projects.

Food and Agriculture
During the first week (5th-12th of October) and parallel to the exhibition, Grand Hotel Europe will present “Nordic Food” through a special Danish menu. Grand Hotel Europe will invite a chef from Denmark - and in collaboration with the hotels own chef - they will compose a special Danish menu that will be available in the hotels restaurants throughout the week.
Extensive press coverage on the 3 focus areas - Denmark as Cultural, Gastronomic and Green Country - is expected. There will be opportunity to invite Key tour operators and Magazines for The opening of the exhibition, Press conferences, Green Receptions and Breakfast meeting.

We believe that these events represent a great opportunity to brand Denmark as well as individual companies in the sphere of Energy & Environment and Agriculture; “Green Denmark – Green Fairytale”.
